This lady who attends my church recently came out to me telling me she used to live a gay LiFESTYLE and that she didn't anymore .Asking me if i had alot of gay friends and what i thought about homosexuality in a CHRiSTiAN church . Just in case some didn't know i don't judge . i have TONS of gay friends . And , it's not a SiN to be GAY . SHOCK you much ? yes , it's TRUE . it's not a sin . But , it is a sin to ACT on your sexual urges . There's this PASTOR in Orange County ( The OC ) and he's gay . He also worked on Obama's Campaign . I just thought I'd share this info because when she gave me her testimony i felt that she should tell more people her story and she felt i should let people know the facts about CHRiSTiANS and homosexuality . So i just thought I'd share that ....

First , we must put a VALUE on your spirit body and soul , as told by GOD , his son and prophets of old .

Over and over the scriptures EXPRESS the value and worth of everyone , because the creation process was so beautifully done .

I'm grateful for god's awesome LOVE , for all good things come from above .

He made provisions for animals and birds too , as if he had nothing else to do .

His master plan targets man's body , spirit and soul , that he declares more valuable than silver , platinum and gold .

He even sacrificed the life of his only begotten son , to ensure that ViCTORY for us was forever won .

He even lived among us as many have told , just to REDEEM our spirit , body and soul .

So , if god , the creator , placed such high value on your spirit , body and soul , which is you , what do you think you and i ought to do ?

Would you trade you in for a little , " Me and Mrs. Jones " episode , just to reduce your tensions , stresses , and emotional load ?

Try gettin twisted and crazy on crack cocaine , and live in the world of extreme iNSANE .

Now if you know me you know that I’m not the same person I was 2yrs ago .. I’m maturing , still battling some sins but for the most part I’m GOOD & at this point in life its not about “ OMG your one of those Christians “ its sad my generation thinks more like “ I don’t believe in GOD , Jesus isn’t real etc.. “

We are ALL sinners By NATURE . But GOD see's us as PERFECT .

The Connection Between the OLD & the YOUTH

There should be a CONNECTiON between adults & youth . Why ? because the POWER resides in the YOUTH (us). God loves using young people . Example ( David & Solomn were very young , but GOD used them )

Read the STORY of David & Goliath . 1 Samuel 17:32


Youth , we believe , we have FAiTH . The OLD need to have faith like a child . Its simple , believe what dad says . We can get work done together . We can do better together .

Remember the word as a young person . LEARN by other's (the OLD) experiences . Try not to go thru certain experiences yourself . Avoid things that cause sorrow . When you are SiNGLE you have it easier . Because the OLDER you get the more COMPLEX it becomes . Life is like a HOUSE , you have to make repairs when its needed or itll become a disaster .

AS a mature CHRiSTiAN ( the old ) :

- Be encouraging and seek faith for the YOUTH
- Every person really wants to be around people that want to be around them
- Its your JOB to give the YOUTH hope

WE ALL BENEFIT

The CONNECTiON :

- With wisdom and youth its POWERFUL
- We feel ENCOURAGED , INSPiRED , and driven to DETERMiNiTiON
- THE YOUTH can borrow wisdom & Inspiration to share w/ others

As you get older you become so INDEPENDENT , you loose FAiTH . you need DEPENDANCE to fall on .. turn to the YOUTH . The Wisdom (the OLD) should be CHARGED , charged by the YOUTH .

WALK in the ways of your HEART .

Think about the politics today , think about when you hear things about the Bible and you want to share it , but you hesitate , because of what some people might say or think .. READ ON ..


In the LAST DAYS you ( a believer ) will experience or see :

* 1 Timothy 4:1-3 - Some will turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings from demons .

* 2 Timothy 3:1-5 - People will only love themselves and their money . Boasting and Proud , laughing at GOD .

* 2 Peter 3:1-4 - ALOT will say " Jesus promised to come back , didnt he ? Then where is he ? "

In 2 Peter 3:8-9 it states ----> " But you must not forget , dear friends , that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day . The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return , as some people may think . No, he is being patient for your sake . He does NOT want anyone to PERISH , so he is giving more time for everyone to REPENT . "

VERY POWERFUL !!!!!!

what WE (believers) should be doing (especially in our last days) until the return of Jesus Christ :

- Contending for the Faith ( meaning fighting for it )
- Instructed to turn from Godless living and sinful pleasures (my Biggest challenge)
- We should live in the HORRIBLE world with SELF-CONTROL ( a challenge for me )
- Live with a right conduct and a DEVOTION to GOD

I struggle with self-control & staying away from sinful pleasures but that doesn't mean I'm a bad person nor it doesn't mean I DON'T have a right to speak on what I know . Because honestly this a warning to how the world is heading & whats going on in our last days .. I'm saved , & I constantly ask GOD to give me strength for self-control & PATIENCE .. I know the RAPTURE is coming soon . I encourage my generation to at least attend church w/ a friend/family & just be open to whats about to start taking place soon. If you think these HUGE earthquakes are a big deal , read the LAST book in the Bible . The Revelation . It'll tell you everything that's happening now .. & how it all ENDS .

Missionary Work in Mexi-Cali .. should I ?

I was asked to join this missionary group in late May , go to Mexi-Cali and minister to the women & children about the Good News . They're husbands are locked up ..there was just a 6.7 earthquake there too . Should i go do this ? I'm asking myself over and over am i really to go into another country were the rules and laws are soooo different from the states . But i want to go for the experience . i believe i was created to eventually spread the news .. ill blog this again once I've made up my decision.

Study : Last Supper paintings supersize the food

Has even the Last Supper been supersized?
The food in famous paintings of the meal has grown by biblical proportions over the last millennium, researchers report in a medical journal Tuesday.

Using a computer, they compared the size of the food to the size of the heads in 52 paintings of Jesus Christ and his disciples at their final meal before his death.

If art imitates life, we're in trouble, the researchers conclude. The size of the main dish grew 69 percent; the size of the plate, 66 percent, and the bread, 23 percent, between the years 1000 and 2000.

Supersizing is considered a modern phenomenon, but "what we see recently may be just a more noticeable part of a very long trend," said Brian Wansink, a food behavior scientist at Cornell University.The study was his idea. For biblical context, he sought help from his brother, Craig Wansink, professor of religious studies at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Va., and an ordained Presbyterian minister.

The Bible says the Last Supper took place on a Passover evening but gives little detail on specific foods besides bread and wine.

"There's nothing else mentioned. They don't say there's a fruit cup or carrot cake," though other foods such as fish, eel, lamb and even pork have appeared in paintings through the years, Brian Wansink said.

For the study, he used paintings featured in the book "Last Supper," published in 2000 by Phaidon Press. They include perhaps the most famous portrayal of the meal, by Leonardo da Vinci. Computer technology allowed them to scan, rotate and calculate images regardless of their orientation in the paintings.

Details are in the April issue of the International Journal of Obesity.
The study is "not very meaningful science," said Martin Binks, a behavioral health psychologist and a consultant at Duke University Medical Center. "We have real life examples of the increase in portion size — all you have to do is look at what's being sold at fast-food restaurants."

A more contemporary test would be to analyze portion sizes in Super Bowl commercials, he suggested.

"That would be a much more meaningful snapshot of how this society's relationship to food has changed," Binks said.
