NOTES from Tuesdays Women's Bible Study

Think about the politics today , think about when you hear things about the Bible and you want to share it , but you hesitate , because of what some people might say or think .. READ ON ..


In the LAST DAYS you ( a believer ) will experience or see :

* 1 Timothy 4:1-3 - Some will turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings from demons .

* 2 Timothy 3:1-5 - People will only love themselves and their money . Boasting and Proud , laughing at GOD .

* 2 Peter 3:1-4 - ALOT will say " Jesus promised to come back , didnt he ? Then where is he ? "

In 2 Peter 3:8-9 it states ----> " But you must not forget , dear friends , that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day . The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return , as some people may think . No, he is being patient for your sake . He does NOT want anyone to PERISH , so he is giving more time for everyone to REPENT . "

VERY POWERFUL !!!!!!

what WE (believers) should be doing (especially in our last days) until the return of Jesus Christ :

- Contending for the Faith ( meaning fighting for it )
- Instructed to turn from Godless living and sinful pleasures (my Biggest challenge)
- We should live in the HORRIBLE world with SELF-CONTROL ( a challenge for me )
- Live with a right conduct and a DEVOTION to GOD

I struggle with self-control & staying away from sinful pleasures but that doesn't mean I'm a bad person nor it doesn't mean I DON'T have a right to speak on what I know . Because honestly this a warning to how the world is heading & whats going on in our last days .. I'm saved , & I constantly ask GOD to give me strength for self-control & PATIENCE .. I know the RAPTURE is coming soon . I encourage my generation to at least attend church w/ a friend/family & just be open to whats about to start taking place soon. If you think these HUGE earthquakes are a big deal , read the LAST book in the Bible . The Revelation . It'll tell you everything that's happening now .. & how it all ENDS .

- Chicken Breasts , Salmon (wild Alaskan) , Turkey Breast (lunch meat) , Top Round Steak & Flank Steak (grass fed beef) , Lean Ground Turkey , Bison & Buffalo , Trout
- Vegetables i.e. Broccoli , Asparagus , Mushrooms , Cucumbers , Zucchini , Green/Red/Yellow Bell Peppers , Onions
- Oatmeal Old Fashioned
- Yams
- Sweet Potatoes
- Brown Rice
- Multi-Grain Hot Cereal

* include healthy fats like :
- Walnuts , Almonds , Extra Virgin Olive Oil , Flax seeds , Flax seed Oil (supplement) , Avocados

* Compliance rate of 95% ( meaning you have to give at least 95% of dedication ) means take 2 or 3 meals per week and have WHATEVER you want . Pizza , Sushi , Big Fatty Restaurant Steaks , etc ...

start off by working at least 3x a week . 40 mins or Cardio & 20 minutes of weights <-- do this if your trying to drop weight fast .

The fight for the HOLLYWOOD sign

In an attempt to raise awareness of a new plan which would completely alter the appearance of the famous hillside, the sign does not say "Hollywood." This temporary situation is under the supervision of The Trust for Public Land. They want to buy Cahuenga Peak in order to stop the developers from purchasing and subdividing the land to build mansions around the famous sign. This would change the entire hillside and residents are outraged at the prospect that the sign could soon sit between mansions.

Half of the 12.5 million dollars needed to purchase the peak has already been raised. The remainder needs to be raised by April 14, 2010.

If they are successful in raising the funds and purchasing the property, the land around the Hollywood Sign will remain untouched.

Developing empty spaces is not new. As a matter of fact, the Hollywood Sign was originally erected to mark a new residential community. Through the years there have been problems for this famous landmark, and now developers want to build homes near the site, something local residents feel would alter the entire feel of the hill and the landmark itself.

This is not the first time the sign has been covered over, however this is perhaps the most crucial draping of the letters. If the funds are not raised by April 14, 2010 the development of the hill will most likely materialize and the famous landmark will be swallowed up by mansions.

In November 2010 the vote to Legalize Marijuana will be on the ballot .. its already a 56% chance it'll pass . You can buy it , grow it , etc .. they will tax us on it . & you have to be 21 . LOVES it .

Missionary Work in Mexi-Cali .. should I ?

I was asked to join this missionary group in late May , go to Mexi-Cali and minister to the women & children about the Good News . They're husbands are locked up ..there was just a 6.7 earthquake there too . Should i go do this ? I'm asking myself over and over am i really to go into another country were the rules and laws are soooo different from the states . But i want to go for the experience . i believe i was created to eventually spread the news .. ill blog this again once I've made up my decision.

Ciroc Blue Ocean (yumm)

Drink Recipe Ingredients:

1 oz. Cîroc Vodka (25 oz. per bottle)
.5 oz. blue curacao
.25 oz. grapefruit juice
splash(es) simple syrup
Drink Recipe Preparation:

Shake with crushed ice.
Strain into champagne flute.
Garnish with a white orchid.
Best served with: Cîroc Vodka

Patron Margarita

Ingredients:
1½ oz Patron Silver
½ oz Patron Citronge
Orange juice.
Juice of ½ lime
Sweet and sour mix
Lime wheel as garnish

Preparation:
In a mixing tin full of ice, combine Patron Silver, Patron Citronge, orange juice, lime juice, and sweet and sour. Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker until the exterior frosts. Strain your ready-to-drink cocktail into a glass over rocks, and garnish the glass with lime wheel.

All you need to do is turn up that music and you can get the party started! Drink responsibly…
